Why does my tracking go quiet for a while?
When your parcel leaves our warehouse, the international carrier (the one shown on AfterShip) scans it at every step out of the origin country. Once it arrives in your country, it is handed off to your national postal service, who become responsible for delivering it to your door.
The international carrier loses visibility at that point, which is why AfterShip can look quiet for several days, even though your parcel is still moving. The most accurate updates from then on come from your national postal service, using the same tracking number. That is exactly what the button above will show you.
